Safe System of Work
An Ultimate Access SSW plan identifies the major hazards associated with construction work at height activities and helps to ensure that the appropriate controls are in place before work commences. It communicates through detailed information so that everyone involved with work at height activities has a clear understanding of the possible risks involved. The SSW plan will help users to complete working at height tasks in a safe manner and for everyone involved in a project to meet some of the legal obligations placed on them by health and safety legislation.
On the completion of a site assessment a report will be produced detailing the assessed risks and the possible solutions available for tasks that are to be carried out on a project. Once a decision has been agreed on the type of system that is the most suitable for the project needs, Ultimate Access engineers will complete a detailed design taking into account working loads, warp Stress, ultimate loading, reaction loads and wind loading.
As well as producing detailed SSW plans, Ultimate Access can provide CDM planning, method statements, risk assessment, quality plans and maintenance planning. Ultimate Access can explain and plan systems with project safety inspectors and the Health and Safety Executive representative if required.
